Kelly Rowland decided to lighten up her hair a bit for the summer. The Destiny’s Child star has undergone a dramatic transformation. She’s ditched her dark brown hair in favor of a platinum blonde bob.
Rowland unveiled her new ‘do last night at the Jhpiego Laughter Is The Best Medicine Gala held in Beverley Hills. Rowland’s hair has been in a cropped A-line bob ever since she introduced the bold trim last month. Now, in time for summer, she dyed it a cool, bright shade of blonde. It’s cool, fun, and perfect for the summer.
Last week, she took to Instagram to show off her new look, with the caption “So blondes are more fun?” Eh? We’ll see……”

Rowland wore a similar daring outfit to match her hairstyle. She wore Norma Kamali’s black fishtail dress, a sleek form-fitting latex gown with spaghetti straps and a mermaid hem. The back was also open. She paired her dominatrix dress with dramatic, glass chandelier earrings that dangled from her blunt bob down to her shoulders.

Rowland isn’t the first to give a new twist to the LBD. She wore a black dress in October with a side cutout that was held together by metal rings.
