Camila Morrone Channelled ’90s Supermodel Style at the 2024 Emmy Awards
Images of matte eyes, sculpted lips, and voluminous hair instantly spring to mind when we think about ’90s supermodel glamour. Camila Morrone, star of Daisy Jones & the Six at the Emmy Awards in January 2024, wore a beauty look that included all these elements (and more). Her fire-engine red Versace gown was also stunning. The actress, who is up for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or Anthology Series, walked the red carpet wearing a blow-dry and neutral makeup.
Bryce Scarlett, a celebrity hairstylist who also counts Margot Roberts and Kirsten Dust among his clients, styled Morrone’s hair with Drybar’s Southern Belle Volume Boosting Mousse. The result was a full-bodied and fluffy hairstyle that oozed Italian glamour.

Mary Phillips is responsible for Morrone’s makeup (she has also done the makeup of Hailey Bieber and Jennifer Lopez). She used Nars Cosmetics to create the look, beginning with the Light Reflecting Moisturizer and Light Reflecting Serum.
Phillips used Laguna Bronzing Cream Radiant Creamy Concealer and Light Reflecting Foundation to achieve her neutral, fresh complexion. Phillips used Afterglow Liquid Blush shades Dolce Vita and Behave to achieve Morrone’s subtle rosy cheeks. She then topped off the liquid formula by applying the Blush shades Dominate Behave and Bumpy ride. Phillips used Laguna Bronzing Powder 02 and 03, and The Multiple Stick Copacabana to give the actor’s face a supermodel-like sculpted look. She finished Morrone’s makeup using the Light Reflecting Setting Powder.

Morrone’s matte brown eyeshadow also reflected the ’90s. Phillips chose the colors Magentism & Midnight from Afterglow Irresistible eyeshadow palette to bring Morrone’s softly sculpted look to life. She used the High-Pigment Longwear Eyeliner Via Veneto, Last Frontier, and Climax Mascara in order to really make Morrone’s eyes pop. Phillips kept Morrone’s brows full and fluffy by using the Brow Perfection in Komo.
Phillips finished Morrone’s makeup with Afterglow Sensual Gloss Lipstick in Voyeur and Precision Lip Liner, Morocco. The final look is stunning. Morrone’s glam was flawless, from her neutral lips to her voluminous hair.
