What you’ll need for this recipe
Chocolate Syrup: Use any chocolate syrup that you like, or make a chocolate ganache.
Chocolate Liqueur: For this drink, I used Godiva Chocolate Liqueur. Both are good.
Irish cream: Baileys is the best I’ve found for this recipe.
How to make a chocolate martini
1. You can drizzle some chocolate inside the martini glass if you are garnishing it with chocolate. Spirals look great but can take some practice.
2. Drag the rim of the glass along a chocolate circle on a small platter to create a chocolate rim.
3. Pour the chocolate liqueur and Baileys into a cocktail shaker, then add the vodka.
4. Close the shaker, and give it a good shake. This step is crucial because it adds water and cools down the drink. Stir away and don’t shake if you prefer your drinks to be stronger.
5. Pour the beverage into your glasses.
6. Finish by adding a few shaved pieces of chocolate if desired.
