Viral campaign
The French fashion brand Mirae flew to Rio de Janeiro for the shoot of its new stunning summer 2024 campaign, Marimbondo. In a press release, founder Camille Jarmon stated that they wanted to take their customers to an exciting and joyful place where each garment told a story about sun-soaked days and vibrant evenings. I would say that she has succeeded in doing so.

Limited Edition Launch
Longines, a Swiss watchmaker, has been involved in equestrian sport since 1869. It’s therefore no surprise that the brand created something special to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Kentucky Derby and Kentucky Oaks horse racing races. Longines launched a special edition of its Mini DolceVita to mark the 150th anniversary. The striking watch, which comes with a double pink leather strap, will be limited only to 150 pieces.

Camila’s New Campaign
Calvin Klein has chosen Daisy Jones & the Six actress Camila Morrone to be the face of its spring 2024 campaign for eyewear. Morrone stated in a release that she has always admired Calvin Klein for its contemporary elegance. “This is why I am excited to be part of the eyewear campaign,” Morrone added. The image above shows her wearing the Butterfly Frame Glasses, so I’m going to need a pair of those ASAP. It won’t make me look like Morrone exactly, but I’ll get close.

Louis Vuitton sets its sights on Spain
Where is Nicolas Ghesquiere located? Come May 23, you’ll find Nicolas Ghesquiere in Barcelona, Spain. The women’s artistic directors will host Louis Vuitton Cruise 2025 at a location that has yet to be revealed in the Catalan capital. A press release states that “Louis Vuitton, along with the Cruise 2025 show, will also celebrate both the Louis Vuitton Cup, and the 37th edition Louis Vuitton 37th America’s Cup Barcelona, with multiple events, such as hospitality, exhibitions, and cultural activities with guests from all over the world.” We’ll see you there.

The Fashion Trust U.S. The Los Angeles Awards attracted a stylish crowd including Laura Harrier and Cynthia Erivo. Jessica Biel was also present, as were Lucy Hale, Ashley Graham Da’Vine Joy Randolph Paris Hilton. Chriselle Lim was one of the most notable attendees. She wore a dress custom-made from archival yarns, designed by St. John in collaboration with Brooklyn-based knitwear designer Aisling Camps.

The North Face just announced a new partnership with Hike Clerb. This is an outdoor women’s group that promotes intersectionality. Evelynn Escobar worked with The North Face design team to create a 10 piece collection, which included boots, sandals and T-shirts.

Piaget Redesigns an Old Favorite
A new timepiece is in town. Piaget has just released a new version of the classic polo watches from the 1970s, called the Polo 79. The watch is entirely made of 18-karat yellow gold. What a luxurious watch! Only time will tell if the new 2024 model will be as popular with celebrities like Andy Warhol or Elizabeth Taylor. This news will delight watch collectors around the globe.
