You think of summer when you imagine fun, adventure and playfulness. Exactly. Summer jewellery is no different. We’ll be heading to the beach this season in the sexiest outfits. Wearing colorful gems, and adding bits of florals, shells, and other elements, each look will be a hit. This is the quirkiness that we all need, yes, even me!
On the runways this season, I saw beaded jewelry in all categories. Ferragamo and Carven, for example, had beads hanging off their bags. On the runways, ear cuffs are also a popular accessory. This accessory is perfect when you want to wear your hair up on those humid summer days. This summer, we’re also layering necklaces–especially, with a tee or an easy linen dress. Shells and sea creatures are a staple of summer fashion. We saw this season oversized water animals from Schiaparelli and shell anklets by Casablanca. Roberto Cavalli also had shell pendants. You will see all of them on me, I am afraid!
