Jenna Ortega’s New Manicure Embraces Classic Elegance
Jenna Ortega never fails to look her best when she steps onto a red carpet. She is always dressed to the nines and never hesitates to try new things. She’s worn “bronzed” goth makeup, debuted bangs, wore a gothic dress and tried auburn hair. Her latest? Step away from the edgy style in favor of something more classic.
Ortega attended the premiere of Miller’s Girl at the Palm Springs International Film Festival on January 11th. The actress wore a floral-accented dress with a chic French manicure to celebrate and kick off the Emmys Weekend.

The dress was a simple skirt with a few straps that began right below her chest. The dress began with a small spaghetti strap with two large white flowers, which covered her chest. As soon as her dress reached her sternum the straps stopped and the skirt began, flowing down to her thighs. She wore a long, white coat to add drama in some pictures. She accessorized each version of the look with a white fabric neckpiece, white pointed-toe heels and a pearl bangle. Of course, the French manicure.
The nails were medium-length, almond-shaped and a similar shape to her classic look. Her nails all had the same pink base, which was glossy and lasted up until the tip. The tips of her nails were small and concentrated at the ends. Her manicure was so glossy that it reflected light from the paparazzi cameras.
You don’t even need to go to a red carpet. This look is super simple to create at home and will match anything in your wardrobe. You probably have all the items you need already at home.

To start, remove all nail polish from your nails using nail polish remover. Apply cuticle oils to your cuticles in order to soften them and push back. Then, file and cut your cuticles to the desired length and shape. Buff your surface to ensure a smooth surface and apply your base coat.
You will then want to apply a base coat of beige-pink for the majority of your nails. If you don’t have one, we recommend OPI Nail Lacquer Bare My Soul.
After the base has dried, you will create the tip. You can do it by hand if you are able to control your hands. For most people, it’s easiest to paint over the tape after applying it a few centimeters away from the tip. For this step, we recommend OPI’s Nail lacquer in Funny Bunny.
Finish with a high shine top coat after the tips have dried. You will be almost ready to walk the red carpet.
