From Silver Screen to Style Icon: 30 Unforgettable Movie Hairstyles

Hairstyles in movies are often remembered for their memorable characters and expressive looks. Cinematic hairstyles can be anything from pixies, which define a certain era, to blowouts with aspirational styles to hair that is symbolic.

Hairstylist Andrew Fitzsimons says that the way hairstyles are styled in films can help to convey a character, or even a feeling. It accentuates an impression that a director and producer may be trying to create. “An element that is unique, whether it’s a short hairstyle, a color or product overuse, etc. helps establish the character and personality of a character.” We couldn’t be more in agreement.

Here are 30 hairstyles we will always remember from movies.
