From Metallic to Woven: The Must-Have Shoe Styles for Spring

It can’t be…could it? It’s time to retire the sherpa-lined shufflers and put an end to winter. A new batch of footwear will brighten up your outfit and mood just in time for the warmer weather. purewow_spring24

1. Metal

There are many reasons to add some shine to your outfit, whether you’re dressing up for a wedding, graduation, Father’s Day, or Mother’s Day. You can also wear it on vacations. The New York Silver Boot craze or the lingering effect of the Renaissance Tour could be to blame, but the trend of silver and gold shoes is still a big spring trend.

2. Western

We are all moving into the cowboy era. (Another style cue that we stole from Queen Bey.) You can “Yeehaw!” into spring with Western wear. Try these fun, fringy pairs or a more subdued buckled pair, both from Vince Camuto. What’s the best part? The best part?

3. Kitten Heel

We have no complaints about this one. It’s all about comfort. We love beautiful stilettos, but they aren’t always practical during the busy season. What’s the spring 2024 update on the kitten heel style? The addition of mesh, buckles, and shine to classic styles adds extra.

4. Purple

We love the “wrong shoes theory” that was popular on TikTok in late 2018. Swap out your usual footwear with a pair of shoes that feel unexpected and out of the blue for an instant outfit update. The result is fashion with a capital F, as our style editor describes it. The concept is a good fit with the purples , plums , violets, and fuchsias that we have seen on the runways in recent months. A surprising pop of purple gives us the dopamine boost we need on an otherwise not-yet summer day.

5. Woven

As the weather warms up, we tend to see more espadrilles. However, we believe the festival season is the reason for the larger-than-usual crop of natural fiber, rattan and crocheted styles. The effect is the same whether the shoes are worn on the beach or the city sidewalk.

6. Florals

We know Florals for spring–groundbreaking. But Vince Camuto has taken the trend up a notch with 3D embellishments and bright, chrysanthemum-covered patterns that are just begging to be worn to a bridal shower or garden party.
