Wedding is the celebration of love and friendship. So, everyone wants it to be as memorable as possible. Not just your dresses but each and every detail of the wedding makes the difference. Be it your wedding invitation or the wedding venue, everything counts for a beautiful beginning of ever after. Like every year, 2016 has also seen some of the most beautiful weddings where each and every detail and décor left the spectators in awe. Here we have enlisted the most inspirational wedding ceremonies of 2016.
1.Sleeping Beauty Wedding in the French Castle
Christina and Sam from Virginia, decided to exchange their vows in the ancient French castle, just like a fairytale. Even a small wedding card was so much coordinated to the theme that I just can’t help ranking it on the top spot. Where bride was in a traditional white trumpet gown, bridesmaids gone all black.
Flower girls were seen in luxuriously style silver-gray gowns with earthly flower headpieces and pinkish bouquets. The grooms party was also looking handsome in black tuxedoes. Outside the historic castle, the couple exchanged their vows in front of all the guests.
Later they all had wedding meal inside the castle. Traditional candle stands and romantically hued fresh flowers made the eye-catching centerpieces. A floral chandelier over it completed the look.
2.Dreamy Woodland Wedding
It was a rustic-inspired woodsy wedding. The couple Charis and Ryan successfully managed to have a dream-like event. It just reminded me of the wedding of Bella Swan in Twilight Saga. A wooden chuppah with a white curtain was staged for exchanging of vows.
Bride and her bridesmaids, all were dressed in ivory lace dresses. Bride holding bouquet with wild ivory flowers and fresh foliage trailing down, was just looking fab. After exchanging of vows, all left for another area specified for wedding lunch. It was skillfully covered with white tents.
The interior was worth watching for. The same woodsy theme was incorporated with fresh foliage, white flowers, candles and lanterns, hanging in the air.
3. Wedding in the Parking Garage
What makes this wedding special is the venue selected by the couple. The wedding was organized at downtown Raleigh parking garage. Arranged by Easton Events, it was surely one of the most appreciated weddings of the year. The bride just stole the show in a sleeveless ivory ball gown with a bouquet of ivory roses. The bridesmaids complemented her look with A-line flowy off the shoulder dresses.
Small flower girls were an added attraction. The wedding ceremony was held at a church but later they all went to the lavishly decorated tented reception with chandeliers, candles, and floral centerpieces. [Read here about 10 most memorable celebrity weddings of all times.]
4. Summer Wedding in Napa Valley
What could be a better option in summer than to celebrate the wedding in refreshing surroundings. The couple exchanged the wedding vows under a green oak tree with a well-organized seating arrangement in front. A special tented area was decorated for reception.
Softly hued mix and match bridesmaid dresses and ivory and gold bride gown, all contributed well to the whole wedding look. Romantically hued flowers looked great in gold centerpieces. From table numbers to the crockery, everything was minutely matched with the summer wedding theme.
5. Destination Wedding in Rainforest
The rainforest of Maui was the destination picked by Eva and Michael. The dark and thick rainforest surrounding the wedding venue elevated the feel. The show-stopping chandeliers hanging from the roof, tall table centerpieces, long, rectangle wedding tables, everything gave a truly romantic and symmetrical feel.
Bride was looking stunning in an ivory lacy mermaid style gown. To complement her look, the bridesmaids picked an adorable shade of green and peach. Centerpieces like Moroccan-inspired lanterns with stunning floral arrangements, every bit contributed to make it a wonderful wedding of 2016.
6. Día de los Muertos-themed Wedding
It was a totally unconventional wedding. Samantha and Ramon are high school sweethearts. And to tie a knot, they picked a really different but stunning wedding theme. This time the bride is in black and bridesmaids enrobe white.
Black, white and red were the main colors used in each and every detail. The couple exchanged the vows in a haunted, wild location and reception was organized in a castle.
White table linen, black chairs, tall, black vases filled with red roses, each and every detail successfully created a haunted illusion.
7. Modern Styled Boho-Chic Wedding
It was a wedding filled with colors and style. From fashion-forward bride to the open-air reception arrangement, everything had an element of modernity.
The couple exchanged the vows in front of a teepee. Different types of seating arrangements elevated the look. Besides table and chairs, sofas and floor cushions were also placed for the guests. Here is the guide to A Bohemian Wedding.
8. Beautiful Rustic Wedding with a Pop of Yellow
It’s a colorful rustic-inspired wedding with the most playful color scheme. Elegant hues like ivory, cream and beige were highlighted by the addition of a pretty pop of yellow.
Be it the wedding bouquets, wedding invites, centerpieces, all were beautified with a bright yellow touch. The ceremony was held in the rustic-inspired outdoor and for reception an elegant indoor area was utilized.
9. A Sweet Wedding in Mountains
McKenzie & Brandon opted for a sweet and stylish wedding arranged in a picturesque spot surrounded by mountains. The best thing about it, this destination wedding had just 12 guests.
For dresses and décor, white was the primary color with grey and yellow as secondary hues. What I liked the most was when the couple left the spot, rowing in the boat.
10. Lord of the Rings inspired Wedding
Last but definitely not the least, any LOTR fan would love this. Bride’s dress and whole getup was just like Arwen’s. Even the father of the bride wore a look of Gandalf the Grey.
Most interestingly, the groomsmen wore shorts just like a hobbit. Even the priest was in a Tolkien-inspired outfit. The bride didn’t toss the bouquet in the air, she actually shot it with a bow and arrow.
The whole seating arrangement was just like ‘an inn in the Shire’ with music and dancing.
Conclusion: A wedding is the beginning of forever. It’s a walk to change your life. Making it unforgettable is what everyone desires. I hope all these beautiful weddings of 2016 would be a great source of inspiration for every couple-to-be.
