Dua Lipa Rocks an Indie Sleaze Mermaid Look with Her Messy Waves

You know that Dua Lipa’s style changes every era. When we met Dua Lipa, her hair was dark brown, almost black–the same look as in “New Rules.” In her next phase, she experimented with blonde with half-and -half styling, and streaks with bleached strands. This was seen in “Don’t Start Now.” Her hair is now a pop star-red to celebrate her new era and her upcoming album. Since this is also her first major film appearance, she has dressed it up a little bit, like any multihyphenate.

Dua Lipa attended the London premiere of Argylle, her latest spy thriller. As one of the stars in the film, Dua Lipa had to dress up chic and mysteriously, just like any international criminal fighter, which she did.

We couldn’t help but stare at her hair, even though the whole look was amazing. Lipa’s cherry-cola hair was parted in the middle and wavy to create a messy-chic style. Lipa’s hair was styled with tighter waves, and nearly every inch was crimped in a brushed-out style. Lipa styled some of her strands into stylish flyaways that were a bit more frizzy than her waves. This added an extra dose of indie sleaze. This gave the look volume and a more edgy vibe.

It was impossible not to notice her entire outfit that matched with the hair as we watched the waves bounce along the red carpet.

Her custom Gucci by Sabato De Sarno gown was almost the same shade as her hair. It had a deep, shimmering red. The strapless dress continued to the floor and trailed behind her. The dress was covered in layers of sequins that reflected the light at different sizes. Some sparkles were larger, such as those near her waist. Some sparkles, such as those on her chest were smaller. A black velvet lining was placed along the hemline to help tie her makeup and tattoos together.

Her wavy, dark red hair provided a base of hydration and glow that allowed her sleazy, classic makeup to stand out. The focus of her makeup was on her eyes. Her water lines were covered in black liner and became heavier at the corners. A sharp, small wing was visible through her long, fluttery eyelashes. She added some silver sequin glitter to the lower lashline and lids. The look was completed with sculpted eyebrows, matte mauve lipstick, and a hint of blush.
