Biotin, also known by the name Vitamin B7, is a water-soluble vitamin involved in the synthesis of fatty acids and glucose. It is part of the vitamin B –complex. Biotin reacts negatively with anti-seizure medications and cholesterol controlling agents, resulting in the extreme swings of blood glucose level.
