Audrey Hepburn’s style is what fashion fans remember most about her. She was a star in many of Hollywood’s Golden Age films, and she also did a lot of humanitarian work. Hepburn wore pants a lot when she was not working, but circle skirts were also favored. As seen here, the actress liked to combine traditionally feminine and male elements. She styled her skirt with ballet flats and a button-down shirt.

Hepburn shares a similar style to her character Jo Stockton, even though this outfit was originally from the movie Funny Face. Hepburn, born in Belgium but with a style that is distinctly French, was a French-born woman. She preferred elegant and functional pieces such as black cigarette trousers and flat shoes. Take a cue from Hepburn and wear a trenchcoat (like this), while wearing a scarf to tie your hair. This is a simple look that will elevate any plain outfit.

Hepburn tended to avoid loud prints but she was not afraid to embrace playful sophistication from time to time. She wore red and white gingham pants in this look, which was a favorite of Hepburn’s. Hepburn was a minimalist by nature, but she loved to play with her fashion. The tights were paired with a mini-dress in striped pattern. Both prints are bold, but they look great together. She completed the look with a pair of circular sunglasses and her favorite ballet flats.
A Lesson in Layering

Hepburn taught us how to layer by adding a white sleeveless top on top of her black staple long-sleeve. Her wedges are our favorite part of the look. Hepburn gave a traditionally feminine piece, the wedge heel, a new look with tailored pants. The look is similar to ” Wrong Shoe Theory”.

Audrey Hepburn married Italian psychiatrist Andrea Dotti in her second marriage. The actress shook up bridal fashion on the wedding day. Hepburn chose a pink Givenchy-designed dress instead of a white wedding gown. She added “traditional” elements to her wedding dress, even though it wasn’t white. This was done with a pair white tights as well as her white ballet flats.
